| Bio: | Anais Nin My name is Grace. I'm 21 years old and I live in the Pacific Northwest. I eat a lot of sushi and I get antsy any place that's very flat, dry, or treeless. My house is surrounded by trees and lakes and hills. Sometimes we get snow, but mostly it rains. I like it that way, because it keeps my hair curly. Also I'm disproportionately fond of umbrellas, but that's neither here nor there. I speak Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, French, and German with varying degrees of fluency. Do not expect me to do particularly well at any one language in particular, because I won't. I draw a lot. I write a lot. I read a lot. (I am exceptional at reading. Writing and drawing, my skills are merely mediocre.) My hobbies mostly involve learning anything I can about everything: if I don't know about it, chances are I want to. My livejournal is where I write about anything I damn well want. I write it because it helps me think; I keep it pretty much public to help me keep a reign on things. I don't really mind who reads it, because I'm not all that interesting and I don't write anything very private. I love a large number of things with a great deal of passion. Most of what I love is people: the teeming masses. I love people. I don't understand them, sometimes they make me very sad, sometimes I want to knock them around until they find some sense, but I love them. I could spend my whole life learning about people and never get bored. (A note: I am neither ashamed or proud of my body. It is what it is. You will get nowhere by insulting it, because no matter what anyone thinks my body isn't going much of anywhere. Tomorrow morning when I wake up my breasts will still be large. My hips will still be wide. My hair will still be brown. There's a large number of people who would rather like to have sex with me. If you are not one of them, that's no great loss.) I am still trying to figure out this whole Being Alive thing. The only thing I can say for sure is that I learn from my mistakes.
